Flitz Belle Star
RED
Olivia’s heart horse and a barn favorite. Red is a sorrel quarter horse. He spent the beginning of his life in FL as a therapy lesson horse where they did basic lessons, polo and even competed in jumping. When Olivia purchased Red he became her main barrel horse and grew into a very competitive 3D sometimes 2D barrel horse. Red now spends his days grazing and poking around the farm with littles as young as 4 years old. Hes our beginner BOMB proof safe horse. His favorite thing to do is run the barrel pattern. He can do it with his eyes closed!

Sailwin Crackerjack
BLUE
A striking 16.2-hand gray Quarter Horse with a big, confident personality to match his size. Owned by Jessikha Armstrong, he’s her main partner in mounted shooting and always ready for action. Despite his towering height, Blue is a barn favorite—patient, willing, and a joy for students to ride. He’s also known for his signature greeting: sticking his head through your car window to say hello… and maybe sneak a sip of your coffee.
-
WACO
Owned by Miss Hallie Plunk, Waco is an 13-year-old, 14.3 hand palomino who’s a perfect match for step-up beginner riders. He excels at the walk and trot, making him a reliable and steady partner for riders who are still building confidence. While his canter may require a bit more experience, he’s an excellent transition horse for students looking to expand their skills and take their riding to the next level.

Southern Farms Top Gunner
Our 9-year-old black Lab, Gunner, has truly mastered the art of duck hunting. He’s traveled from Arkansas and Mississippi all the way to Canada, retrieving countless birds along the way. When he’s not in the field, he’s obsessed with playing fetch and somehow still believes he’s a lap dog. Gunner is a special companion—always eager, loyal, and full of personality. He even takes it upon himself to run to the barn to check on the ducks and chickens, though we’ve had to remind him that those aren’t his to retrieve.
-
Blackwaters Top Gun Goose
Our 3-year-old lab, Silly Goose, has more energy than a kid on a sugar rush. His laser-focused attention and excitement to work are unmatched but can sometimes get in the way of each other. As a son of Gunner, Goose inherited both drive and determination. He’s more than willing to scale any fence you think will contain him. He’s incredibly athletic and downright sweet. You’ll know you’ve met Goose when he proudly brings you a stick (or sometimes an entire tree branch) and refuses to leave your side until you throw it. Goose is currently off at “duck school,” training and preparing for the 2025–2026 duck season

Daisy Duke
The only one around here who pays no rent. Meet Queen Daisy, our 11-year-old Catahoula-Beagle mix. With her sweet personality and calm, no nonsense attitude, she’s often mistaken for a human. Daisy does her own thing, occasionally giving a well-timed side-eye to the crazy Labs and kids we’ve added to her kingdom. Patient and gentle, she still gets the zoomies from time to time, proving age is just a number. Daisy was found as a stray in East Tennessee, where Olivia scooped her up and never looked back. For the past 10 years, she’s been by Olivia’s side—through college, work, and nearly every adventure that allowed dogs. Daisy is the original member of Blackwater Ranch—the true OG.

Blackwaters River Foxx
River, our 4-year-old black Lab, is the eternal puppy who refuses to grow up. She’s our little shadow, always close by and not always the best at respecting boundaries. For two years, River traveled the country competing as a derby dog, following in the footsteps of her champion father, Foxx. She consistently placed in the top five out of 30–40 dogs on average, proving her talent and drive. These days, she spends her time hunting ducks at our outfitter or exploring the farm. Recently, River took on a new role as “mama,” proudly raising seven puppies sired by Gunner. If you’re ever looking for a great hunting companion, let us know!

Little Bit
Rescued from Lucky’s Cat House, Little Bit started her journey as a shy, feral cat who seemed impossible to approach. When she first arrived at our farm, she spent her days climbing rafters and hunting, keeping her distance from everyone. But over time, she began to trust us and has since blossomed into one of the most affectionate and friendly cats you’ll ever meet. Now, Little Bit is known for her sweet, snuggly nature and will always be the first to greet you with a purr. She’s also quite the hunter and often brings us “gifts” from her adventures….while they can be a bit startling, we’re grateful for the absence of mice in our barn!
