Olivia, or we call “Livy”, is the owner and operator of Blackwater Ranch. She began teaching horseback riding over seven years ago at the ranch’s original location in Hendersonville, TN. In addition to her work at Blackwater Ranch, she spent six years as a trail guide and lesson instructor at a well-known riding facility in the Nashville area.

LESSON MANAGER + INSTRUCTOR

With 20 years of riding experience and 15 years of teaching, Lauren has a deep passion for helping riders grow and excel. Growing up riding Arabian horses in disciplines such as hunter pleasure, saddleseat, and side saddle, she has also spent years grooming at horse shows. As an instructor, Lauren focuses on developing strong, independent riders who can perform their best in any discipline.

LESSON INSTRUCTOR

Hey y’all! I’m Serenity Warman. I’m 21 and got to college at MTSU. I’ve been riding for a little over 8 years. I’ve loved being around horses since I could walk. I enjoy trail riding, Western Pleasure, and—most of all—teaching people how to ride. I’ve worked at Little Creek Ranch for about 3 years as a trail guide, and I love being out in the woods and sharing the ride with people of all ages. I found Black Water Ranch through Little Creek, and I’m so honored to share my knowledge and passion with riders here. My goal as an instructor is to help students feel confident and comfortable on the horse—and look good doing it, too! I love seeing riders grow and improve with every lesson.
